Multiple teams of swimmers from schools and groups made a splash for the Windsor Lions Swimathon last month – raising thousands of pounds for charity. Local community services club, Windsor Lions, was ‘delighted’ with the turnout for its recent Swimathon. This year was the 26th year the Windsor Lions have staged the event. Participant schools this year included Clewer Green CE First School, Oakfield First School, St Edward’s First School, St Michael's School, Trinity St Stephen’s First School, Winkfield St Mary’s CE Primary. There were teams from local business, swimming groups and charity groups, such as Blue Acre Horse Rescue Stables, Windsor Foodshare, Windsor Horse Rangers, Thames Valley Heartbeat and Upton Swimmers.
