Emma Adams leaves on Wednesday to represent Southland at the Interdominion Kidz Kartz Series in Auckland on Friday. Southland's driver at the Interdominion Kidz Kartz Series is her family's fifth generation in harness racing. One of the original members of Kidz Kartz Southland, Emma will be loaned a pony, nicknamed Rusty, for the series. Her pony, Ty, is new to Kidz Kartz racing and not ready to take north. Kidz Kartz is an educational programme run by Harness Racing New Zealand in most provinces.
