Earlier this month, police officers attended Dundry Turning Circle after receiving reports of loitering and signs of drug use. The driver, who only had a provisional license, was occupying a vehicle with no insurance, MOT or tax. "An occupied vehicle was found with no insurance; no MOT; no tax and the driver also had only a provisional license. "The driver was subsequently arrested for being in charge of a motor vehicle whilst over the prescribed limit of drugs and has been released on investigation whilst police await forensic results"The vehicle was seized under devolved DVLA powers for no tax. "The Dundry turning circle has a Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) preventing public right of way and cannot be accessed by the public unless exceptions apply."
