Police said that the deceased Rafiq Uddin, a noted drug dealer in the area, had several cases filed against him under the Drugs Act with several police stations. Kushtia Model police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nasir Uddin, confirming the matter, said: “After receiving a tip-off about two gangs of drug dealers being in a gunfight, two teams of police and Detective Branch of Police reached the spot.
