Manchester United are “digging deep” with their desperation bid for Salomon Rondon on deadline day, claims Alejandro Moreno. Rondon has emerged as a surprise name on United’s hit list as manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is in need of urgent reinforcement in attack after star striker Marcus Rashford’s injury. The Manchester giants have been linked with various strikers throughout the January transfer window, such as Erling Braut Haaland, Timo Werner and Edinson Cavani but negotiations fell through.
