OK, so the Edmonton Oil Kings still have a handful of games remaining in the regular season before it officially becomes do-or-die time in the Western Hockey League. “These last 10 games, it’s been high-tempo and it’s the fastest hockey of the year,” said Oil Kings forward Vince Loschiavo. “When it comes down to playing a few games here, once you’re playing a divisional team it’s for sure a playoff atmosphere,” said Oil Kings goalie Dylan Myskiw. “We’re more mature now than we were a little while ago, I think we handle winning better,” said Oil Kings assistant coach Luke Pierce. And that’s good for us.”Because if the Oil Kings haven’t been able to immediately bounce back from a loss, they would have quickly found themselves taken over in the standings.
