Education Ministry forges deeper relationship with SE AsiaTAIPEI, Taiwan --The Education Ministry, a participant in the Tsai administration's "New Southbound Policy," is working to build a deeper connection with Southeast Asia through student exchange programs, vocational courses and internships, and academic partnerships. The office was charged with cultivating a deeper, stronger and more critical relationship with countries in the Southeast Asia. The Education Ministry's approach to the "New Southbound Policy" focuses on the people, seeking to enhance bilateral communication and to share resources with Southeast Asian countries. Aside from improving current policies, the ministry seeks to establish more pioneering and creative projects to enhance communications between Taiwan and Southeast Asia. In the end, they hope that with closer ties, the countries can join hands to cultivate talent who will help build up their economies.
