Spokesman for the Health Ministry Dr Khaled Megahed said 43 patients have died from the virus over the past 24 hours, raising the death toll to 11,038. As many as 466 patients were discharged from isolation hospitals after receiving necessary medical care, taking the number of recovered cases to 144,485 so far, the spokesman said. A total of 400,000 citizens have registered to reserve the Coronavirus vaccines since the launch of the website last week, announced Minister of Health Hala Zayed. This comes as part of the state's plan to address the Coronavirus pandemic and focus on the public health of citizens. A total of 1,141 citizens have received the first coronavirus vaccine dose on Thursday, the first day of the vaccination campaign targeting the elderly and those suffering from chronic diseases.
