Egyptian, Croatian FMs discuss economic ties, Ethiopian Dam


Both ministers tackled Grlic-Radman's visit to Cairo on March 31, as indicated by a press statement. Minister Shokry also expressed interest in boosting economic relations and trade between both countries in light of the economic reforms carried out by Egypt and the improvement in the investment climate. The Egyptian minister displayed the latest developments on the issue of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD), and presented his recent tour in Africa to clarify Egypt's stance on the matter. The tour included six African countries that are Kenya, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Comoros, South Africa, Niger and Senegal. Those countries are either non-permanent members of the UN Security Council or members of the African Union Commission (AUC).
