The country's exports hit $3.2 billion in the relevant period of 2020, added Barzy in a statement by the council Thursday. Barzy noted that the exports of June, 2021 are the highest during the period between January and November, 2021, recording $392 million. He pointed out that Arab countries topped the list of the most important international groups importing processed foods from Egypt. Exports to the Arab markets amounted $ 2.026 billion, representing 54 percent of total food exports during the period from January to November 2021, achieving a growth rate of 18 percent with a value of $310 million, according to him. He noted that the Council is currently working on dynamically adjusting its marketing and promotional policy in line with the updated export data.
