REUTERS/Brandon WadeCAIRO - 27 April 2020: The media center of the cabinet denied on Tuesday rumors regarding the increase in the prices of basic food commodities due to the increase of the gasoline prices. The Ministry of Supply said that the news is void of truth, the center said in a statement on Tuesday. The ministry asserted that the prices are stable in all the subsidies outlets, the center said. On April 23, the Egyptian government increased the fuel prices morning by 25 piasters, with keeping the prices of diesel and mazut. In July 2019, Egypt announced applying the fifth and final tranche of fuel subsidies cut.
