Resident and staffers of the Fung Shing Care Home in Kwai Chung were evacuated overnight after a patient living there was confirmed with Covid-19 yesterday. Residents of two elderly homes where Covid-19 infections were found have been evacuated overnight for isolations. Health officials in protective gears assisted with the clearance in the early hours today, after two patients living at the Fung Shing Care Home in Kwai Chung and Hei Yuet Home for Aged Limited in Tai Kok Tsui respectively were confirmed with the virus yesterday. Some residents were seen sitting in a wheelchair and using a crane during the evacuation. A total of 120 residents and 30 staffers of the two elderly homes had to go to quarantine centers.
