Dozens of elections security officers who were selected to overseer tomorrow’s elections around the Country, including the Liberia National Police, members of the Liberia Bureau of Immigration, and other selected security agencies said to be trapped on the highway due to bad road condition. A team of GNN-Liberia Correspondents in the southeastern part of the Country, including River Gee, Maryland, Grand Kru and other far distances around the Country to provide security are trapped as a result of bad roads condition, while at the same trucks that were hired to transport those elections security have reportedly broken down on the highway leaving many of the elections security to sleep on the highway. According to our Correspondents, many of the trucks being used by the police that were provided by the UN Chinese Contingent to the police are said to be defective, as a result many of them have broken down making it very difficult for the police to arrive on time for tomorrow’s elections.
