Equity Group has sponsored 64 students to top universities in the United States such as Harvard, Yale, Stanford and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as it pushes to develop top talent under its leadership programme. The bank is currently sponsoring 329 students in global universities with a total scholarship value of Sh8.2 billion. Equity Leadership Programme has now supported 3,405 scholars since inception with 90 per cent admitted to local public universities. Equity Bank in partnership with MasterCard foundation has invested in sponsoring bright and needy children through secondary and university education.
