After the lesson in Burayu, Ethiopian National Security council warns government is capable and ready to take appropriate measure against anarchyborkenaSeptember 18,2018Following the atrocities committed in Burayu outside of the capital Addis Ababa a few days ago, Ethiopian National Security Council had a meeting today and has passed a resolution today. The council says, according to a report by state broadcaster Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation (EBC), it will no longer tolerate anarchy and illegal activities in the country. However, says the statement, the task of building a democratic system is unthinkable without the rule of law. In connection with atrocities in Burayu, the council believes that subversive forces have plans to obstruct upcoming EPRDF congress which is due at the end of this month. As well, the council encouraged the youth not to be a tool for destructive forces.
