Even 2 seats less will stir questions: Rupani

Vijay Rupani Gandhinagar: Gujarat chief minister Vijay Rupani believes the BJP will win more seats than the 115 it bagged in 2012 and says the party will "have to answer" questions if it does not. Even if we get two seats fewer than last time, we'll have to answer (questions) and we'll definitely answer (them)," he said during an interaction with The Telegraph. Rupani cautiously avoids referring to Shah's public announcement of a record target of 150 seats out of the 182, a feat even Modi could not achieve as chief minister. One hardly finds a voter in Ahmedabad who would vouch for a big BJP victory. Rupani denies voter anger but does not seem confident about a big victory.
