Mr Kibaki cast his vote at Munaini Primary School in Othaya, Nyeri County, at exactly 5.45pm. The presiding officer declined to comment on why the former President voted past the stipulated deadline. The former President was to cast his ballot at around 10.30am, according to his spokesman Ngari Gituku.
