Kaiser Hamid was arrested from Elephant Road area on Sunday, according to CID Mehedi HasanHe is accused of embezzling funds from his company, New Way Multipurpose Cooperative SocietyPolice's Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has arrested former national footballer Kaiser Hamid yesterday, after an arrest warrant was issued against him on charges of embezzlement of funds. Special Superintendent of CID Abdullah Hel Baki confirmed this to Dhaka Tribune, adding that he was arrested from Elephant Road area in Dhaka around 9pm Sunday. Abdullah also said that the case was filed by several people who had invested their money in Kaiser's company, New Way Multipurpose Cooperative Society. But they never got any return for their investment, which was when they had filed a case.
