General News of Tuesday, 17 January 2017Source: classfmonline.comFH security transfers apolitical – PoliceJohn KudalorThe Ghana Police Service has dismissed reports suggesting that the recent transfer of some senior officers is politically motivated, coming on the back of a change in government. The transfer list was contained in a memo released by John Kudalor, the Inspector General of Police, on Tuesday January 17. This transfer exercise has been met with mixed reactions from a section of the Ghanaian public, with some reading political meanings into it. However, speaking in an interview with Chief Jerry Forson, host of Ghana Yensom, on Accra100.5FM on Tuesday January 17, the Director of Public Affairs of the Ghana Police Service, Supt Cephas Arthur, said: “This is not a politically motivated transfer. Every time there is a change in government, the police administration reassigns some officers to other duties and so this is not politically motivated.
