CAIRO – 19 October 2022: Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on Wednesday said the Egyptian government is keen on facilitating British investments in various sectors of the Egyptian economy. He also asserted the government's commitment to promote British investors' engagement in mega national development projects, and make the best use the promising investment opportunities in Egypt. The two sides also discussed a raft of regional and international issues of mutual concern, including the Russian-Ukrainian crisis and its repercussions on global food and prices, especially for developing nations. It was organized by the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation in collaboration with national, regional, and international partners, under the auspices of President Abdel Fatah El Sisi. Over 1,000 persons have participated in the event, including, 16 ministerial delegations, 54 official delegations, and 66 relevant international organizations.
