FM praises BUE role in preparing qualified cadres capable of serving Egyptian society


CAIRO, Feb. 11 (MENA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty praised the role played by the British University in Egypt (BUE) in preparing qualified cadres capable of effectively contributing to serving Egyptian society for more than twenty years. He described the university as one of the leading models in supporting higher education and scientific research in Egypt, as well as promoting cultural and intellectual dialogue. The meeting addressed the pivotal role played by universities and educational institutions in building awareness, particularly through academic and cultural exchange and cooperation with international partners. Minister Abdelatty emphasized the importance of strengthening partnerships between academic institutions and government bodies as a key pillar for building a future based on knowledge and innovation, in a way that supports Egypt’s national priorities and objectives. Minister Abdelatty affirmed the commitment to promoting a culture of human rights and strengthening institutional capacities in this field, in line with the National Human Rights Strategy, enhancing the exchange of expertise and knowledge, and supporting national and regional cadres concerned with these issues.
