Facebook Inc has appointed Marne Levine as its new chief business officer, a new post in the executive ranks of the tech-giant. As chief business officer, she will now report to Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg. Levine, 50, in a Facebook post shared the news. In her post she stated, "I’m excited to share that I am taking on a new role as Facebook’s Chief Business Officer. Earlier this year, Facebook's Chief Revenue Officer David Fischer, who oversaw the advertising business and managed sales and marketing teams worldwide, said he will leave the company towards the end of 2021.
