Family and friends travelled from far and wide to celebrate the 100th birthday of a community-driven Knowl Hill resident last week. “Dad designed the house along with the architect and then they lived in the house in Knowl Hill and they brought us three kids up,” she added. Reg was a founding member of the much-loved Knowl Hill Steam Rally. Audrey also spent many years working with the vicar to produce the parish magazine for Knowl Hill and Littlewick Green. On Saturday, family and friends, some of whom had travelled hundreds of miles, gathered to enjoy a ‘lovely party’ at The Royal Oak pub in Knowl Hill to mark Audrey’s birthday.
