Data-driven marketing tech firm Zeta Global this month clinched its latest acquisition, of Temnos, a Silicon Valley AI company whose proprietary semantic technology can analyze language and detect patterns for online publishers on the open web. One client was big blog hosting platform Disqus, which privately-held Zeta acquired in 2017 for a reported $90 million. It’s become a major player in cloud marketing helping its 750 clients attract and retain customers through a combination of proprietary data and technology fueled by artificial intelligence. He claims Zeta has one of the biggest proprietary data sets after Facebook and Google. Some 2.2 billion unique individuals hit Zeta’s platform monthly.
