The father of a 6-year-old victim of the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., was found dead Monday morning of an apparent suicide, police said. Jeremy Richman, whose daughter, Avielle Richman, was one of the 20 children and six educators killed in the 2012 shooting, was found by an electrician, who then called police and paramedics who responded to Edmond Town Hall, where he had an office. He was 49 years old. The State Medical Examiner’s Office is performing an autopsy, police said.
