When internet giant Amazon commissioned a behind-the-scenes documentary series on the All Blacks, the production promised to be on "a level we've never seen before". One industry insider said NZ Rugby had been "very unhappy" – a claim the rugby union denies – and that the documentary had required "major repair work". NZ Rugby has been conducting its own experiments into the online delivery of sports. NZ Rugby has since surveyed fans in an attempt to find out how it could improve future online offers.
