Deji LamboA diesel-laden tanker and a car were gutted by fire that engulfed the Adetokunbo Ademola Street branch of Access Bank Plc on Victoria Island, Lagos State, on Wednesday. PUNCH Metro gathered the tanker was discharging diesel for the generators on the bank’s premises when it caught fire. Immediately the fire started, emergency responders stormed the premises to contain the inferno. The UBA fire service truck is here; officials of the Lagos State Fire Service and the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency are also here. “Investigation conducted at the scene revealed that the tanker was dispensing diesel for the use of generators on the bank premises and inadvertently caught fire.
