Facebook-owned WhatsApp experienced global outage n Thursday evening with users facing connection issues as well as inability to send messages in various parts of the world. "WhatsApp is experiencing a partial outage for several users. Nearly 66 percent of WhatsApp users faced connection issues while 30 percent were unable to send or receive messages. Along with Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs and other Google services were also facing an outage. Hundreds of Gmail users took to social media to complain about the outage in the service, with #Gmail becoming the top trend on Twitter.
