A foreigner was shot and injured by two armed robbers on Wednesday after resisting their attempt to snatch his back pack. Nairobi police commander Japheth Koome told the Star he was taken to hospital in critical condition after the attack on Riara Road in Nairobi. Koome said the victim was with a Kenyan friend when he was attacked by the robbers who were on a boda boda. A witness said the man, whose identity and nationality have not been established, was shot once in the head and twice in the chest. The witness said the Kenyan ran away.
