Credit: Epic GamesThe arsenal of Fortnite Battle Royale continues to grow, and it seems like we're getting a major new addition Guided Missiles are hitting the game soon, and given previous announcements I'm going to guess that they will arrive tomorrow along with the new challenges and a broader patch. The Guided Missile looks to be the apex of the current family of explosives in the game, and it sounds a little overpowered, at least from that perspective. It's for that reason that the main questions I have are about how Epic will nerf it down to a manageable size. Rocket Launchers are currently limited by their travel time and distinctive noise, which gives players plenty of advance warning when one is on the way. Fortnite Battle Royale remains a game where the most powerful ability at the top-level remains clever and careful use of the building system, and it's hard to imagine a new weapon touching that.
