They were arrested in raids conducted in various parts of the Upazila at Brahmanbarhia from Thursday midnight to Friday morning, said Nasirnagar police OC Md Abu Zafar. At least 15 temples and more than a hundred homes were vandalised and looted on Oct 30 over a Facebook post ‘insulting’ Islam. “Four more have been arrested as suspects in the two cases filed over the attacks,” said OC Zafar. So far 78 people in the two cases filed a day after the attack. Rasraj Das, a Hindu fisherman accused of posting the ‘insulting’ post, was arrested before the attacks were launched from demonstrations organised over the social media post.
