The Human Rights Campaign, the largest LGBT advocacy group in the United States, has stripped Fox News of its perfect rating on the Corporate Equality Index and its status as one of the "best places to work for LGBTQ equality," CNN reported Friday. Ron DeSantis (R) signed into law on Monday, prohibits classroom instruction on sexual orientation and gender identity in kindergarten through third grade. Fox had previously received perfect scores from the HRC in 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. "At FOX, we celebrate our diverse workforce, and remain committed to LGBTQ+ equality and inclusion. The Corporate Equality Index rates companies based on their non-discrimination policies for sexual orientation and gender identity, their organizational culture, and the inclusivity of their benefits packages.
