Ireland kick off their 2026 Six Nations campaign with a novel Thursday night this week. Ireland will head to the familiar surrounding of Saint-Denis and the Stade de France. The decision was taken to avoid a Friday night clash with the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics in Chamonix. France TV are the host broadcaster for both the Games and the Six Nations. Ireland’s last win in Paris came in 2018, courtesy of Johnny Sexton’s iconic drop goal and France have won four of the last six meetings between the sides.
