Protesters began gathering at Hyde Park near Marble Arch at 12pm before a huge crowd marched to the Israeli embassy, near Kensington High Street, holding banners and chanting. While marching to the Israeli embassy, demonstrators chanted “free, free Palestine,” and held banners calling for an end to the bombing of the territory by Israeli forces. Huge crowds of protesters arrived outside the gates of the Israeli embassy in Kensington at around 1.30pm.
