According to her, the aviation security landscape is becoming increasingly complex, with terrorist tactics growing more sophisticated and harder to detect. “The aviation security landscape is constantly evolving. Opare explained that criminals are employing more elaborate concealment methods, including camouflaging, disguising, dismantling and manipulating prohibited items in attempts to undermine existing aviation security systems. She made these remarks at the maiden edition of the Aviation Security Week, held in Accra on February 9, 2026.
