He noted that government directed GIADEC and TDC to develop a large-scale industrial park aimed at driving job creation, attracting global investment, and building a modern industrial base centred on aluminium processing and manufacturing. The planned industrial park will be developed on approximately 122.7 hectares of land within the Tema Heavy Industrial Area, specifically on TDC lands. He further indicated that, as part of feasibility validation, a high-powered Ghanaian delegation visited ARISE industrial parks in Benin to assess operations and economic outcomes before advancing the partnership. Ankrah stressed that the industrial park is expected to deepen Ghana’s aluminium value chain, promote value addition, reduce raw material exports, and create significant employment opportunities. The ARISE–GIADEC–TDC Industrial Park Project is expected to serve as a major driver of Ghana’s long-term industrial growth and economic transformation agenda.
