Dilip Pal, chief financial officer (CFO) of Grameenphone Ltd, yesterday disclosed the GP financial report 2016 at the Westin hotel in the capital. The third quarter marked the highest ever revenue for Grameenphone along with its double digit growth, he said. Data revenue growth accelerated to 72.1% year on year while voice revenue grew by 6.6%. Grameenphone acquired 1.1 million internet users, taking the quarter end base to 22.9 million. Data continues to perform well, with voice revenue growth continuing, said Rajeev Sethi, Grameenphone CEO.
