Former India opener-turned politician Gautam Gambhir has gone into self-isolation due to a COVID-19 case at his home. The World Cup-winning former batsman said he is awaiting his test result. The former cricketer took to Twitter and wrote, "Due to a case at home, I have been in isolation awaiting my COVID test result. As for the 39-year-old, he made his foray into politics ahead of the Lok Sabha elections in 2019 by joining the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP).
