Beaver Falls, PA- Geneva College will partner with Dordt University of Sioux Center, Iowa, to give students a head start on earning a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree. Students taking courses as a part of Geneva’s Social Services major may be eligible for credit at Dordt toward an MSW. “This partnership evidences the high quality and value of a social services major at Geneva College and its ability to successfully prepare students for graduate studies,” says Dr. Stephanie Schindel, Chair, Department of Psychology and Social Services, Geneva College. “The partnership between Dordt University and Geneva College is valuable because it creates a shorter pathway to a Master of Social Work for students,” says Joe Bakker, dean for online, graduate, and partner programs at Dordt. Dordt’s Master of Social Work is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) and approved by the Higher Learning Commission.
