In the op-ed, the men say their proof lies in genome sequencing, or analyzing the DNA, of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. But new evidence, including reports of three workers at the Wuhan lab who fell seriously ill with COVID-like symptoms in November 2019, has forced a sober reassessment among doubters. Even President Joe Biden has ordered government agencies to investigate the possibility that it might have come from a lab. It comes after study last week claimed that Chinese scientists created COVID-19.
