PETALING JAYA: George Kent (M) Bhd ’s earnings grew 3.8% to RM10.65mil in the third quarter ended Oct 31,2020, from RM10.26mil in the same period last year. George Kent said it saw strong water meter sales in the local and export markets in the third quarter as water meter orders continued even during the movement control order (MCO) period. “Demand for our water meters continues to outstrip supply. We are already planning to expand our capacity to produce precision parts for our water meters soon after purchasing the licence from Honeywell last year. “It is our strategy to become a one-stop purveyor of water meters.
