(Photo supplied/Wassayos Ngamkham)Police in Bangkok have arrested a German man facing 74 arrest warrants issued in Europe in connection with ransomware and cyberattack-for-hire platforms that caused widespread global damage. Noah Christopher, 27, was apprehended at a condominium on Thong Lor Soi 25 in Watthana district of Bangkok on Friday. According to investigators, Mr Christopher developed ransomware platforms and a Cybercrime-as-a-Service (CaaS) model, which included Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks. They are also looking into whether any computer-related transactions or offences had been committed in Thailand, said Pol Maj Gen Phanop.
