Ghomeshi, in his brief and narrow mea culpa, characterized it as “sexually inappropriate.” No, the behaviour as described was sexual assault. As if Ghomeshi, acquitted at one trial, essentially reprieved in another, has any compelling reason to lay himself bare. She wants Ghomeshi to admit to “everything that he’s done.” Yet she afforded him a pass on the charge.
