Globe Telecom Inc. said it is on track to meet its target of connecting two million homes with high-speed internet by 2020 as it launched prepaid home broadband WiFi service. Globe At Home senior vice president Martha Sazon told reporters the company expects to connect 400,000 households by the end of 2017 and one million households by next year. “The commitment is to connect two million homes by 2020, we will be on track,” Sazon said. “The time is ripe to disrupt the market and break the barriers of getting a broadband plan through accessibility and ease of application. We are committed to provide fast and reliable home connectivity to more Filipinos, nationwide,” she added.
