The Gore District Council has replaced its promotional road signs, which carry a slogan saying the district is 'Good and Ready.’The Gore District Council is ‘good and ready’ as well as promoting ‘Rural City Living.’A play on words has left some questioning whether the Gore District Council was rebranding itself, after new council signage appeared on the side of the district’s roads. The council’s “Rural City Living” logo is in small lettering near the bottom, and in the bottom left-hand corner it says “Good and Ready”. “You will see the Good and Ready uses the GoRe logo – GOod and REady.
