Bauchi State Governor, Sen Bala Mohammed, on Saturday, paid an unscheduled visits to Duguri to see rescued kidnapped victims who are receiving medical attention at the Duguri Model Primary Healthcare Centre. The Governor was in the company of his Deputy, Rt Auwal Jatau and other top Government Officials, to sympathise with the rescued victims and assured them that the Government is concerned about them. The twenty-one victims were rescued through the combined efforts of all security operatives and local hunters, as well as vigilante members, after their abduction by armed bandits. While addressing the rescued kidnapped victims, Bala expressed gratitude to the security agencies for efforts in rescuing the victims after repelling the armed bandits. It was also reliably gathered that another set of twenty-one rescued kidnapped victims are currently receiving medical care at the Futuk Primary Healthcare Center as part of the efforts to address insecurity challenges facing the communities in the area.
