Netflix co-CEO Reed Hastings has given $3 million California Governor Gavin Newsom's anti-recall effort - the biggest donation it has received so far. Hastings made the donation to the Stop The Republican Recall fund on Thursday, Politico reported. Last month the campaign to recall Newsom - which could see him ousted from office - passed the 1,495,709 signatures required to qualify for the ballot. It will see voters asked whether they wish to recall Newsom. The 'Stop the Republican Recall' fund says it 'stands with Gavin Newsom and is opposed to the Republican recall.'
