Sports Cabinet Secretary, Ababu Namwamba, on Thursday, December 15, secured jobs for 500 officers from the National Youth Service (NYS). Tech giant Huawei organised the event, which brought together different stakeholders offering the jobs. The NYS officers will be placed in different sectors in January 2023. "The ministry has negotiated with Huawei for placement of 500 NYS graduates to be placed in different positions in January 2023," he announced. "NYS officers will man the premises at a fee, which will be paid directly to the government," he announced.
