Photo: BSSJASHORE, Mar 28, 2026 (BSS) - State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Aninda Islam Amit today said the incumbent government is looking for a permanent solution to Bhabadah waterlogging in Jashore. The state minister made the remarks while speaking as the chief guest at an event organised to inaugurate the re-excavation of Buruli canal in Keshabpur upazila here. Later, the state minister inaugurated the re-excavation of Buruli Canal by cutting soil with a spade. The state minister said the succeeding governments did not take the initiative to dig canals again.
