Grace Margaret "Marge" Kratochvil Forbes passed away at the age of 98 in Hixson, Tennessee. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, as the sixth child of the Kratochvil family. In 1947 she married her high school sweetheart, Edward (Eddie) Forbes, and went on to have four children, Debie, Dean, Mark and Jamie. Marge was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Edward Forbes, her parents, Charles and Josephine (Sedlacek) Kratochvil; brothers, Charles and Robert Kratochvil; sisters, Blanch (Kratochvil) Kos; Josephine (Kratochvil) Hrejsa; Mildred (Kratochvil) Waldoch; and daughter-in-law, Cindy (Mark) Forbes. Marge is survived by her daughters, Debie (Rick) Mikel, Chattanooga, and Jamie (Rick) Dell, Hixson; sons, Dean (Carol) Forbes, Tarpon Springs, Fl., and Mark Forbes, Lawrenceville, Ga.; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
